ok, i'm a few days behind again, but i'll catch up. with this:

i went upstairs to get coffee and this is what i returned to. the two-year-old half naked in a bumbo. typical saturday morning here.

we spent a LOT of the day wednesday cleaning up this mess. this is only one teeny part of it. sigh.

17lbs 12oz of NOM. she won't be six months old for two more days. i'm going to have to free her from the infant carrier soon. NOOOOOOOO!

first happy meal. age two years, four months. thank you, freak snowstorm. i give up.

at our comfy (teeny) hotel room in norwich. it was VERY difficult to get these two knuckleheads to nap, so i had to resort to signs:

instead of trick or treating, we spent halloween at west farms mall. super festive. olivia is WAY excited about giant mickey. i swear.

day 53

getting gas was a bit of a nightmare... this is the millionth station we went to (in a 50 mile radius) and the line. OMG the line. as we were getting up to the pump, the guy said 30 more minutes and he'd be running out. SIGH.

day 52

this is what we came home to...

there are more, but you get the idea. the fence, the shed, the playscape... and no electricity, water or heat.

day 51

so. yeah. the snow started and we realized we were going to lose power. trees were falling everywhere so we made a preemptive strike and headed to our friends down the street for safety.

they had cool toys. unfortunately, they also lost power. it was a chilly night, but fun anyway!

day 50

yikes. i've been offline for a bit but that's because of ANOTHER giant storm that left us powerless for days. but i'll get to that.

day 50. the calm before the storm...

we ran out before the snow started to get pumpkins (and an apple. ahem.) for halloween. look at us. NO IDEA what we're in for. none.
